Marian Bear Trails in Pictures

This morning I finally got back out to the trails, and what better way to enjoy the outdoors than during the rain! I actually got to Marian Bear just after the rain stopped but that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to get wet. As expected, the trails were pretty muddy and the normal sections were flooded which meant some fun shin to knee deep water crossings. I kept my pace nice and easy, about a 7/10 PE and felt really good the whole time.

It felt great to get back out on the trails and gave me some much needed quiet time to be in my own head and think about a lot that has been on my mind this week. I wasn’t able to work out everything I need to but I got a good start on it and have some ideas as to how I want to move forward with certain things.

Anyway, on to the pictures…

One of the water crossings. It'll be great once we get the bridge put in here!

One of my new friends out enjoying the wet trails with me

There’s not much that can compare to the peaceful solitude of being out on the trails with nothing but you, your thoughts, and nature.

That sounds really nice. I could probably use a morning like that – quiet, solitude, running, thinking time. excellent!
